Council & Government
Environmental Services
South East Queensland

At Total Environmental Concepts, we deliver environmental construction, restoration and maintenance for local councils, state government agencies and the contractors who build public infrastructure across South East Queensland, from Northern NSW to Gympie and out to Toowoomba.

Public land comes with approval conditions, receiving-authority standards and members of the public walking past the work zone. Our crews, environmental scientists and our own plant fleet carry a site from early stabilisation through planting and maintenance to final handover, with the records to back it up.

We can assist with:

  • Natural area restoration and threatened-species revegetation.
  • Bioretention basin and stormwater asset rectification.
  • Erosion control, hydro mulching and stabilisation.
  • Fire trail, track and firebreak construction.

Supply arrangements built for councils

TEC is a Local Buy approved supplier and sits on council supplier panels in South East Queensland, giving councils a prequalified way to engage us for natural areas, parks, waterways and WSUD asset programs.

We tailor reporting, programming and site controls to each council’s requirements. This includes everything from photo-point monitoring and GPS-recorded planting to traffic and public-interface management on busy reserves.

Delivery to state government standards

TEC works with Queensland state agencies on reserves, corridors and public land where approval conditions and environmental outcomes are closely monitored. Our quality, environmental and WHS systems are aligned to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, giving agencies confidence in compliant, auditable delivery.

We provide the documentation evaluation panels expect, from site-specific risk assessments and environmental plans to GPS-recorded planting and photo-point monitoring long after handover.

Working safely where the public is close by

Schools, sports reserves, correctional centres and other public facilities need environmental works that don’t disrupt the people using them. TEC has delivered projects such as St Joseph’s College Coomera, Jimboomba Sports Reserve and the Gatton Correctional Centre biobasin.

We plan around each site’s operations with spotters, traffic and public-interface controls, and works timed around school runs and park users.

A reliable environmental partner on major projects

TEC supports Tier-1 and civil contractors with the environmental scope of public infrastructure projects, from early stabilisation and erosion control to planting, maintenance and final handover.

With our own specialist fleet, qualified operators and site-specific SWMS on every job, we slot into your program and deliver to the receiving authority’s standards.
